One-Michelin Star restaurant, Putien, opened its first branch in the Philippines on November 15, at The Podium, Mandaluyong.
Putien, was named after the founder’s hometown, Putian City, a coastal suburb in the province of Fujian in China. The now global chain began as a coffee shop at Kitchener Road, in 2000, and has been awarded a One-Star Michelin since 2016.

Tonkatsu Maisen was established in December of 1965, in the underground floor of the Hibiya Mitsui Building in Yurakucho, Chiyoda Ward. Starting with the establishment of a restaurant in the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Department Store in 1968, it has spread out to various department stores throughout Japan.
