Dubbed “Sabores de España,” the highly successful trade fair series has once again promoted more of the country’s rich agricultural products, under the helm of the Department of Tourism (DOT), in participation with SSI (Store Specialists, Inc.) Group, Central Square, the Embassy of Spain, and the Tourism Operations Board.
Philippine Harvest at Central Square continues to celebrate and promote the richness of Philippine agriculture through a three-day food and travel fair dubbed “Philippine Harvest: Sustainable Living, Food, and Travel,” that highlights farm tourism, local food, and tourist destinations around the country. This is the second edition under the helm of the Department of Tourism which was showcased at Central Square, Bonifacio High Street Central, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City last August 24 to 26, 2018. Central Square, the premiere lifestyle destination in the heart of the city, has been home to the Philippine Harvest series since 2016.
Dubbed Philippine Harvest: Celebration of Philippine Food Destinations, the recent four-day food fair, organized by the Department of Tourism (DOT), in partnership with the SSI (Stores Specialists, Inc.) Group and Central Square, highlighted culinary destinations like Bicol, Negros Occidental, Cebu, Davao, Zamboanga, La Union, and Isabela, among others.
“The 7th edition of the Philippine Harvest is another opportunity to appreciate the finest flavors and ingredients from the Philippines and Spain, as well as recognize the men and women behind them,” said Mr. Anthony Huang, President of SSI Group Inc. “As we continue to provide lifestyle offerings to our consumers, we at SSI are proud to partner with the Department of Agriculture and the Embassy of Spain in Manila to offer an exciting gastronomic experience with an explosion of flavors from the Philippines and Spain.”
The Department of Agriculture (DA) and Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) partnered with the French Embassy in Manila for the 6th Philippine Harvest at Central Square, which once again brought a one-of-a-kind gastronomic market and festival that offered best of both Filipino and French food straight to our tables.
A repeat of the highly successful Philippine Harvest at Central Square held last May will take place August 19 to 21, 2016.
