I’ve recently featured Masflex on the blog celebrating their 25th anniversary. In line with the festivities, Masflex has invited select bloggers to a new exciting and challenging event.

Masflex with the help of their brand ambassadress, Chef Nancy Reyes Lumen, lead the team of bloggers to a Masflex Kitchen Boot Camp. Unaware to us participants, this will not only be a “cooking lesson” from a kitchen goddess, but also a test of survival skill as tricks and tips are waiting every participant.

First dish up was Crispy Chicken Adobo Flakes, using Masflex Casserole. Boneless and shredded chicken breast poached in Adobo liquid then deep fried using Masflex Premium Stainless Steel Casserole.

This pot boost heavy gauge quality stainless steel, ergonomically designed riveted cool touch handles, and encapsulated bottom for even heat distribution.

Tip #1 All pots and pans should be seasoned properly first prior to usage for longer use life.

Second, using the Crispy Chicken Adobo Flakes, we made BluBimbap Rice. πŸ™‚ Making use of Blue Pea flower as colorant for the rice. πŸ™‚

For this we used Masflex Stone Series Fry Pan to saute our vegetables and poach our egg.

The Masflex Stone Series has 3-layer Stone Coating, creating strong bond, durability anti-abrasion and non-stick versatility.

Tip #2 Even though Masflex is known for their pots an pans, the brand also carries variety of kitchen items that is useful for everyday use, just like our Blubimbap container. πŸ™‚

Lastly, with the help of Chef Jaja Andal, we were able to create our own individual Crepe/Pancake Cakes using Masflex Crepe Pan.
