The Grand Wine Experience 2016 is the most illustrious wine event in Southeast Asia. Beyond the usual wine dinner as the grand scale of overflowing wines and spirits, visitors and guests were treated also with a sumptuous buffet of food for wine-pairing fantasy.
I know this is a wine event, but the first thing that caught my attention upon entering the venue was this PEKING DUCK display. Not only for display… but BUFFET!!! 🙂 I immediately knew I was in the right place.
There are well over 5,000 known grape varieties in existence but only a chosen few that stand heads above the rest and achieve the lofty status of “Noble Grape”.
These classic examplars are defined by their unsurpassed quality, ubiquity across regions and firm reputation.
These are also the hallmarks of this year’s Grand Wine Experience.
Among the featyre wines and spirits are Zonin Prosecco, Camus VSOP, Hennessy XO, Glenmorangie 10YO, Patron Tequila Silver, Alfonso Light, Johnnie Walker REd and Johnnie Walker Black among others.
Dalmore 46YO is considered as one of the most expensive wines in the world at 2.5 million pesos per bottle.
Set at the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel Resorts Wold Manila, Philippines on November 04, 2016, the Grand Wine Experience delivered to be an unforgettable night for wine enthusiasts, experts and novice, alike.
