RECIPE: White Oyster Mushrooms and Shrimp Scampi Pasta
Love is…
Nobu Restaurant, Breakfast
I will say it now, Nobu’s breakfast is by far the best hotel breakfast I’ve tried so far. I was not supposed to have breakfast, went down to just take photos and share it with you guys. But when I got the chance to look at the selections. I knew that it will be a huge mistake not devour what’s in front of me. 🙂
The Cafe, Hyatt Hotel
The Cafe is Hyatt’s 24/7 buffet service restaurant. My brother booked us here for dinner on our one night stay in Nobu Hotel. Why? ‘Cause from the reviews he read, Roast Beef carving here is supposedly good, and tender. That is all he eats when dining in almost any buffet restaurant. Continue reading
City of Dreams Manila, Nobu Hotel
So, my brother called me up one night and told me that we will be staying in Nobu Hotel for a night. Stunned of course, I asked why? He just said “Basta! Everything is paid for, and I also made reservations for The Cafe.” Who could honestly say no to that logic, right? 🙂
Manila Creamery
When someone asks you to attend a Gelato Tasting event, you can never say no to that! ;p Not only because it’s free, but because you’ll have the chance to try and taste Manila’s newest Artisanal Gelato brand in the market. Manila Creamery launched its brand last April 11, 2015 with a free Gelato Tasting event, held in EDSA BDG. These kids are really going all out. 🙂
Tim Ho Wan
Woke up having this extreme craving for Dim Sum. Well, I was trying to suppress the feeling for a month now, but today… DIM SUM is the only thing on my mind. Can’t work, can’t write, can’t think straight. Is this how being in love feels like? 🙂
I have this love/hate relationship queuing up for Tim Ho Wan. I always like being the first in line. Even in Hong Kong, I always make sure I am the first in line. If not first, I would settle for top 10. But even with all that “hard work”, I would usually be bumped off the line. Why? ‘Cause my friends are always late.
Nonetheless, I think I can never get tired of eating at Tim Ho Wan. My first time trying Tim Ho Wan was in their original branch in Mong Kok, and it was simply magical. I am holding on to that memory every time I dine. That is why I was so excited when the first branch in the Philippines opened, that my friends and I had to order everything on the menu. 🙂 Continue reading
The Breadery
It was just an ordinary morning, I was looking for a place to collect my thoughts. I was not really keen on going anywhere far, but when the idea of visiting a new bakery comes into mind… I just have to drop everything, and found myself en route to The Breadery. Continue reading
Brasserie Cicou, Goût de France Degustation Menu
I LOVE Brasserie Cicou. 🙂 Whenever I eat here, I am always assured of great food, quality ingredients, attentive service, and value for money. 🙂 Even their complimentary bread have cult following. People tend to shy away from eating French restaurants, ’cause they have this notion that French food is really expensive, servers would be snobbish, and above all… there’s no rice! ;P Yes, I agree… Many French restaurants are like that. I did too, but Brasserie Cicou changed my mind completely. Let me not forget, the owner, Chef Cyrille Soenen was just inducted as a “Maître Cuisinier de France”, or Master Chef of France. That is one title chefs around the world aspires for. Continue reading
