Marco Polo Ortigas Manila, Staycation

Marco Polo Ortigas Manila

One highlight of my birthday month was a Staycation with Marco Polo Ortigas Manila. Not that I needed a break from all the “hard work” that I do. ;p I think, mom badly needs a day-off. Though, we can’t really be far from home… Marco Polo Ortigas Manila has the perfect proximity being in the center of Ortigas Business district, yet gives a vibe that you are in a chic comfortable hotel.

Lobby

Hotel lobby is on the 24th floor, so is their signature restaurant, Cucina, which I had featured on the blog quite a few times (here, and here), a chill-out place, Connect Lounge, and a playroom for the kiddies, Picolo Kids Club.

Lounge Area

Mom, my younger sister, and my nephew stayed comfortably in the lounge area while I checked-in and took my time taking photos of the lobby.

Room

Our “home” for a night

We were given a Premier Room, but since it was a corner space, the room is huge! Will show photos later, but I think two king size beds would fit in the room. 🙂 Also try getting a room that faces Metrowalk, ours did, will show you what our room view was. 🙂

Welcome to our room 🙂

Everyone loved the modern Cleopatra sofa near the window, looks really inviting not only to sit on but to also sleep on. ;p

On the side note, I love hotels with blackout curtains. 🙂

Thank you for the wine and chocolates, Marco Polo 🙂

Overall I had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay with Marco Polo, they have really soft and plush beds. By the way, I sleep with tons of pillows, so does my mom… Marco Polo can only provide two extra pillows per room. To people who forgot to bring chargers, nothing to fear… Near the phone are cord adapters with atleast 4 choices.

I will do a separate blog for the complimentary buffet, and other dining options with Marco Polo. 🙂
