Marco Polo Ortigas Manila
A pre-holiday treat has been set at the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s all-day dining restaurant with one of the finest cuisines as Cucina launches a German Food Festival until December 13, 2015.

German Food Festival
This food festival will highlighting classic yet refined German favorites the Philippines market has yet to experience like Fried Rabbit with Beetroot, Goat Cheese Strudel with Apple & Rosemary Compote, Venison Ragout with Hazelnut Dumpling, and Pear filled with Cranberries.

German Cuisine Section
In partnership with one of Germany’s iconic hotel property – The Schloss Elmau, Cucina flown in two German Chefs from the hotel’s talented kitchen team to share an exceptional preview of the German cuisine.

Chef Christian Scheler, and Chef Mario Paecke
Chefs Mario Paecke, and Christian Schele, both experts in the cuisine for more than a decade already and have gained notable kitchen experience with Michelin-starred restaurants in Germany, are more than ready to give a gastronomic festivity to Manila through Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s Cucina.

Seafood Selection
Aside from the German selections, you will also be treated to usual buffet treats such as the cold seafood selection which during our visit included mussels, oysters, blue crabs, and coconut crab. I was kind of surprised with the coconut crab as not many hotels offer that. So, I felt obligated to hoard. :p

Prime Rib

Filet Mignon cooked A la Minute
For beef lovers out there, Marco Polo Ortigas Manila is proud of their Prime Rib carving, that they serve with a dozen or so of sauces to choose from. Aside from that, they also have Filet Mignon which they cook a la minute.

Paella Catalan
Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s Executive Chef is from Catalan, Spain. Needless to say, the highlight of my Cucina visit is his Paella Catalan. Which for me I think is the best one I’ve tasted in a very long time. 🙂

Dessert Room
What can be better than a dessert room? Filled with cakes, mousse, pastries, tarts, pies, and more. 🙂
