Osaka Ohsho
Relish Group, known for bringing in international dining concepts in the country, is making your food experience in the North more exciting and delicious. Opening at the ground floor of The Block, SM North EDSA are Osaka Ohsho’s second branch and Kumori Japanese Bakery’s first full scale concept, aptly named Café Kumori.

King of Gyoza
Osaka Ohsho, the king of gyoza, opened its flagship store in 2014, much to the delight of every Japanese food-loving Filipino. Now, with 2 years under its belt and a whole lot of raving customers, Osaka Ohsho opened its second branch last December 28, 2015 to bring the goodness of gyoza straight from Osaka, Japan closer to the hearts (and palates) of every Northern foodie.

Kimchi Gyoza
Donning clean, modern interiors, paired with bright lights and an eye-catching geisha artwork at the dining area, Osaka Ohsho’s second branch is a sight to behold and a place to satisfy one’s Japanese cravings!

My fave, Fuwatoro Tenshin Han
The menu features signature items such as crispy Chicken Karaage (Japanese fried chicken), the fluffy and savory Fuwatoro Tenshin Han (Japanese omelette enveloping premium Koshihikari rice), and the signature gyoza available in 5 unqiue flavors—original, bacon and cheese, nori, kimchi, and Japanese curry.

Hanjuku Cheesecake
Café Kumori, on the other hand, is nothing short of new and exciting. With it being the first stand-alone branch of Kumori Japanese Bakery in the country, Café Kumori boasts of an open kitchen, letting the guests see how their favorite Kumori bread and pastry items are made.

Krone
Baked on site by Kumori’s skilled bakers, customers would be guaranteed to partake in only the freshest products made with the highest quality, natural, wholesome ingredients grounding the brand’s commitment to its slogan—“It’s Japan Baked Daily”. With warm lights, clean Japanese accents and modern wooden fixtures, the modern Japanese interiors are made complete with interesting memorabilia and portraits tracing Kumori’s roots in Nagoya, Japan.

Japanese Sweet Corn Milk Shake
Café Kumori also boasts of a wide beverage menu of coffee and tea-based drinks, which pair well with the well-loved Krone, Caramel Crunch Cake, Signature Hanjuku Cheesecake, and the Salted Cheese Yakigashi.

Matcha Milkshake
Also available are Kumori’s new beautifully garnished milkshakes, such as the Matcha Milkshake (a crowd favorite), the caramel popcorn and cereal-topped Japanese Sweet Corn Milkshake, and the Choco Hazelnut Milkshake!

Cottage Cheese
Launching alongside all of these new delicious beverages is the Kumori’s Cottage Cheese. Described as a light, delicate, cheese pudding with a delectable not-too-sweet-nor-salty appeal, this delicious treat makes a perfect dessert to cleanse one’s palate after a hearty meal, or makes for a simple, elegant snack. If you care to indulge your taste buds, a visit to Café Kumori will definitely make you #biteintoclouds!

Choco Hazelnut Milkshake
“We really wanted to bring the flavors of Japan to our friends in the north and opening Osaka Ohsho and Kumori’s second branches at SM North was definitely the best way to do it. There is such a larger foodie market in the area and we feel that they would definitely appreciate the various flavors Osaka Ohsho and Kumori bring to the table”, said Linfred Yap, Relish Group’s Managing Partner.
