Recipe: Stewed Beef Neck cooked using Philips All-in-One Cooker

Ingredients:

1 KG Beef Neck, cut into 1.5 inch cube

1/2 KG Pork Leg, sliced

1/2 cup each of diced Onions, Celery, and Leeks

1 small pack Tomato Paste

1 cup Red Wine

1 can Diced Tomato

1 cups Beef Stock

2 pieces Bay Leaf

1 piece Cinnamon (optional)

5 pieces Green Cardamom (optional)

3 pieces Kaffir Lime Leaves (optional)

Oil

Salt & Pepper to taste

Procedure:

1.) Set your Philips All-in-One cooker to Sear High Temp. Add 1 tbsp. oil.

2.) Dry Beef Neck, and Pork Leg with paper towel, and season generously with salt and pepper.

3.) Sear meat in batches until all sides are brown. Remove once all sides are brown, cook until all meat has been seared.

4.) In the same pot, saute your vegetables (Onion, Celery, Leeks), and spices (Bay Leaf, Cinnamon, Green Cardamom, Kaffir Lime Leaves). Once aromatic, add Tomato Paste, and deglaze with Red Wine.

5.) Bring meat back into the pot. Add Beef Stock, and Diced Tomatoes.

6.) Set Philips All-in-One Cooker to Pressure cook, choose Meat/Poulty option, and adjust time to 1 hour.

7.) Close the lid, and remember to seal the vent.

8.) Once cooked, after 1 hour, remember to release the pressure, by opening the vent, before opening the lid.

7.) Serve with mashed Spiced Pumpkin, and Philips Airfyer cooked Potatoes and Carrots.
