Iconic UK-based pizza chain PizzaExpress continues to grow in the Philippines. They opened their flagship store at SM Megamall last June 27. The latest branch is located at the 3rd floor of Mega Fashion Hall, and is the biggest in the country to date.

PizzaExpress is a household name in England, where it first opened over 50 years ago. Founder Peter Boizot opened the original store in Wardour Street in Soho, London, with the vision of bringing authentic Italian cuisine to Britain. More than a half a century later, PizzaExpress has reached the other side of the world, with the Mega Fashion Hall branch being the third in the country after Uptown Mall, BGC, and SM North EDSA and the 630th in the world located in 13 countries across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

“We are very excited to open the biggest PizzaExpress store in the country at a premier dining destination like SM Megamall. It’s always been our mission to create a fun dining experience through delicious, handmade pizza, beautifully designed restaurants, and great service, as they are the foundations of our worldwide growth. We can’t wait to show our new customers why we’re one of the UK’s most beloved restaurant brands,” said Liam Collette, the General Manager of PizzaExpress International & Franchises.
PizzaExpress has plenty of signature offerings with a worldwide following. The Calabrese, the only rectangular pizza on the menu, packs a big flavorful punch with its hot Calabrese sausage, ‘nduja salami and fresh chilies.
With meat lovers in mind, the Le Rose is loaded with pancetta, prosciutto, Calabrese sausage, and grilled chicken chunks.
And for dessert, another must-try are the Dough Balls with Nutella, a PizzaExpress original for those with a sweet tooth.

Beef Rendang Pizza
True to its heritage, the tomato passata used on the Calabrese and all other tomato-based
pizzas in all PizzaExpress branches worldwide is made in Italy by the same Greci family thathas been making it since 1965.
