Tim Hortons, Freedom of Espresso Campaign

Iconic Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons® Philippines has expanded their #TimCaresPH CSR initiative by launching another campaign on Independence Day, June 12, 2021, to show support and gratitude for frontline heroes who are serving their country and communities selflessly and resiliently.

The campaign called, Freedom of Espresso, encourages all customers of Tim Hortons and its partners to support those in the medical field, essential workers and government departments who are stationed in the  satellite areas for Covid-19 vaccination. Starting June 12 until July 12, 2021, every purchase of Tim Hortons Red-Eye series drink – Hot/Iced coffee, French Vanilla, and Iced Capp with extra shot of espresso via dine-in, takeout or delivery, Tim Hortons and its partners will donate a cup of coffee or hot chocolate to a frontliner in selected COVID-19 vaccination satellite centers.

“We are truly humbled by the heroism of all frontliners and as we focus on looking after the health and well-being of ourselves, our loved ones and our colleagues, it is equally important to reassure our frontliners that they are not alone in the fight against COVID-19 virus, and we will together, manage through this challenging time.

Tim Hortons is committed to continuously provide relief given the increasing need for food donations in hospitals and marginalized communities. We are grateful for all our partners and guests who continue to work with us in reaching those who need help the most.” says Rickie Yap, Tim Hortons Philippines President & CEO.
