Aristocrat is an institution, I highly doubt I’ll ever meet someone who has not yet eaten in Aristocrat. Now that they are celebrating their 80th year in the business, I am not entirely sure whether to congratulate them or to thank them for being a reliable establishment of good, quality, Filipino cuisine.
On my eighth month with Gold’s Gym Philippines, let me just vent out some frustrations I encountered on the way.

Most often than not, I am hungry. But let’s face it… It is very difficult to find good food on-the-go. I’m not sure if this is still a “secret”, but I must confess… I am a huge lover of cookbooks!!! 🙂 Last I counted there were at least 150 to 200 titles in my collection, majority of which are from award-winning authors. One author is a Singaporean named Bryan Koh, who decided to take on the daunting task of compiling recipes from the 7,107 islands of the Philippines.
