For a special, limited-group engagement – and for the first time in the Philippines – lucky enough to catch Chef Drapeau during his hands-on French cooking class last January 23 at CCA Makati Grand Kitchen. There was likewise a must-experience exquisite Michelin-star level 4 course with French Masterchef Marc Toutain on January 24 the same culinary school.
The country’s top culinary school, the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA, Manila) together with the Institut Culinaire Disciples Escoffier (ICDE) invited all aspiring chefs, foodies, and connoisseurs as they welcome two-star Michelin chef Thierry Drapeau for a French cooking class and a level 4 course on January 22 to 24, 2018 at CCA’s campus in Makati.
Chef Drapeau is well-known for his “Vendee”, French-inspired dishes or what he calls as “cuisine of the soil”. His culinary style can be compared to how he says it, “I compose my dishes as if they are paintings.” His passion to discover flavors from different regions of France and his dedication to his career allowed him to carve a reputation as an excellent chef worthy of emulation.
