Located at the ground floor of Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City, Taguis, Oye aims to give Filipino foodies a taaste of Spain’s rich culinary past and a sample of the cuisine’s dynamic future by serving traditional and modern culinary masterpieces that are specially crafted to fit the diverse tastes and preferences of Filipino food lovers.
Dinner started with Ensalada de Sandia, Quezo Azul y Jamon or Watermelon with Jamon and Blue Cheese. This dish takes the classic quasi Italian inspired appetizer and made it truly unique and appetizingly good.
This Truffled Egg, Potato, and Ham is a new take on my fave dish, Torta de Patata. Although, I’ve actually tried several versions of this “deconstructed” style of serving, I still find this really good. The egg was poached perfectly, lending it to blend well with the potato froth/cream.
Fideua de Mariscos is one dish that I LOVE only if made well. Oye made sure to use only fresh ingredients to make their very simple Fideua but packed with flavors. I had two small servings of this, yet I was still craving for more.
Oye Fried Rice or Chicharon Fried Rice is my free pass to cheat that day. I will not leave the restau without missing out on this, and I couldn’t care less if I was on a diet. This was so good!!! 🙂
