Dusit Thani Manila houses my ever fave Thai restaurant in Manila, Bejarong. This year, the restaurant had a complete make-over, giving this timeless restaurant a younger and fresher look.
Because I was in the area for the next few days, I decided to checked into Dusit Thani Manila, and experience first hand, one of their newly renovated rooms.
I was lucky enough to have watched a pyrotechnics competition in the comfort of my bedroom.
Let me just say, Dusti Thani Manila has one of the best scented rooms in the Metro. Also, it is also very accessible to nearby malls and restaurants. Making it one awesome place to stay in Makati.
The next day, the family had lunch at Benjarong to celebrate my birthday. 🙂
A trip to Benjarong will never be complete without a plate of their famous Phad Thai Gung Sod. This has been my fave since I was very young, and even though they have already changed chefs… I am still very fond of this dish.
For appetizer we had Gai Hor Tei or Pandan Chicken, a dish ubiquitously synonymous with Thailand.
One new dish invented by Chef Ja that I really like was this Green Curry Stuffed Chicken Wings. The family haven’t tried it yet, so I made sure to have this on the table.
Benjarong’s Duck Breast in Red Curry was everyone’s favorite and so is the Soft-shelled crabs.
