Coming from the recent Kaon ‘Ta! featuring Ilonggo cuisine, Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s Cucina sets its eyes north by featuring authentic Ilocano dishes from October 23 to November 07, 2019.
Ilocano dishes are known to champion the flavours of simple ingredients, combined with balancing strong flavours and delicate cooking techniques.
As part of Cucina’s commitment to promote home-grown cuisine, choice favourites from the Ilocos province will be available at the restaurant for guests to enjoy during lunch and dinner service.
These include Dinardaraan (Ilocano Dinuguan), Dinengdeng (Ilocano Pinakbet), and Bagnet. A live station for the famous Ilocos Empanada will be set up as well for all those craving for this filling snack.
