Rock & Seoul
A rocking new restaurant is now open serving a playful twist on your Korean favorite, the bibimbap! The Relish Group, known for its other establishments such as Wee Nam Kee, Osaka Osho, and Kumori Japanese Bakery is ecstatic to unveil Rock & Seoul Bibimbap Bar at the Ground Floor of The Block, SM North EDSA.

Bibimbap Bar
Rock & Seoul offers its customers the liberty to make their own bibimbap creations! Customers can select exactly how they would like their bibimbap meal to be customized. With bibimbap toppings ranging from different proteins, vegetables, sauces, and other toppings, each customer can experience the fun in creating a meal that suits their tastes perfectly.

Original Bibimbap
For others, if they’d rather put their trust in Rock & Seoul’s rock star kitchen, different kinds of Signature Baps are available for them to explore. There are actually 15 Signature Baps to choose from. Let’s start the parade of Bibimbaps!

Pork Salpicao Bibimbap
The classic Filipino-Spanish fused dish, Salpicao, served with Gojuchang, Kimchi Butter, and vegetables.

Mexican Taco Bibimbap
Mr. Linfred Yap’s fave, and also my fave among the selections. Lettuce, cheese, chips, and ground meat seasoned with cumin. Worked perfectly with that Korean twist.

American Breakfast Bibimbap
Bacon, hash brown, hamburger trio makes up the American Breakfast Bibimbap.

Korean Fried Chicken Bibimbap
For people who love Fried Chicken, but who doesn’t? 🙂

Owner Mr. Linfred Yap, explaining the restaurant’s concept
A visit to Rock & Seoul is like a walk down music memory lane. Let your eyes wander around and back in the tiny details as they take you back to the glory days of Rock & Roll. Walls adorned by memorabilia ranging from old school vinyl players and turntables to records.

My fellow blogger, Mr. Jeng Del Rosario, seemed a little overwhelmed with the selections. 😉
