I personally can’t wait for October when Contadina products are finally out in the Philippine market. I first started using Contadina through the loot basket I got from the media event with Nigella Lawson.
At first I was kind of skeptical about the product but the more I use the product, the more I fell in love with it. The tomato sauce has complex balance of sweet acidity and fruitiness to it, and the dried pastas are simple divine. Perfectly al dente, even when baked for quite a long time. Truly a product I personally would use and recommend to everyone else.

During the event, we were tasked to cook using Contadina products. I chose to be with Chef JP Anglo’s group. I have a huge feeling we would win when with his Spicy Squid Pasta using Contadina’s Arrabiata Sauce and Diced Tomatoes, and Contadina’s 100% Wheat Durum Semolina Spaghetti.
