Most often than not, I am hungry. But let’s face it… It is very difficult to find good food on-the-go. Especially when you only have few minutes to spare for lunch or snack break, it is quite hard to find the perfect food that you can bring around in the car, while walking, or even while on the desk working.

Thankfully, Tokyo Tokyo introduced a Makirrito line that features a combination of the two most popular dishes in the world—maki and burrito.

Milkier Pigs & Violet Gold

I’m not sure if this is still a “secret”, but I must confess… I am a huge lover of cookbooks!!! 🙂 Last I counted there were at least 150 to 200 titles in my collection, majority of which are from award-winning authors. One author is a Singaporean named Bryan Koh, who decided to take on the daunting task of compiling recipes from the 7,107 islands of the Philippines.

Contadina X Nigella Lawson

I personally can’t wait for October when Contadina products are finally out in the Philippine market. I first started using Contadina through the loot basket I got from the media event with Nigella Lawson.

At first I was kind of skeptical about the product but the more I use the product, the more I fell in love with it. The tomato sauce has complex balance of sweet acidity and fruitiness to it, and the dried pastas are simple divine. Perfectly al dente, even when baked for quite a long time. Truly a product I personally would use and recommend to everyone else.
