The family loves The Peninsula Manila, but I reckon, although I’ve tried almost all of the hotel’s food outlets, the family has always been at The Lobby. Don’t get me wrong, The Lobby is a wonderful place, we always get the Halo-halo Harana, but I guess it is time for the family to reignite their love for The Peninsula Manila.
For Father’s Day this year, I opted to bring them to a fave restau of mine, Spices, now headed by Chef Radhey.
As I have figured, everyone enjoyed the meal. My sister and I has been craving for good Thai and Curry places since our previous trip to Thailand. Spices did not disappoint, even their Vegetarian Biryani was very well made.
Luckily, The Peninsula Manila, has transformed Salon de Ning into a Man Cave just for Father’s Day. We opted to check the place out, and find out all the neat cool stuff they have on display.
There was a Harley Davidson on display, which I failed to ride on cause I thought I can’t. On display was a Harley Davidson Softail Fat Bob 114. This is pretty cool! Honestly, my dad is the one crazy about these stuff…
I, on the otherhand, was crazy about Fort & Tailler. The craftsmanship on these suits is just magnificent. This is the type of suit I always dream about!
Come on now… Look at those vintage looking neckties. Very classy, and classic, it will sure pair well with those handsome three-piece.
A good suit, and tie will only shine even more with a good pair of shoes. These are from an iconic Spanish brand, Berwick. Those suede oxfords really made me drool.
VMV Hypoallergenics has a booth where one can practice their golf skills. I just realized I got none, my sister on the other hand got two holes out of five.
Before going out to The Lobby for some Halo-halo, I stumbled upon fellow blogger, dudeforfood, having his haircut with Back Alley Barbershop. This is really a very relaxing place for dads, and bachelors, such as myself.
Cannot leave The Peninsula Manila without a taste of their famous, Halo-halo Harana. We were torn between this or their Merienda Buffet, but we were still very full from lunch.
